The company’s electrical engineering design capability is predominantly structured around the residential and commercial development market, catering for both private and public sector clients – from private developers, parastatals and municipalities to independent power producers.
Our energy professionals are proficient in the planning, design and project management of electrical power projects and have many years of experience in underground and overhead reticulation networks, switching substation design; building reticulation; street, highway, area high masts (including sports field lighting solutions); renewable energy installations and a range of other specialist services.
Personnel play an important role in the support of other business sector schemes within Nurizon, be it for a Mine Infrastructure Area’s bulk power supply, electrical reticulation design and services integration; an airport’s ground lighting solution, or a bulk water supply reservoir’s pump station telemetry and SCADA system designs, we can tailor our services to meet a client’s project challenges.

Corobay Corner Satellite Substation

Menlyn Main Development: Electrical Infrastructure Design
Nurizon was appointed to complete the design for Corobay Corner’s satellite substation to form a distribution point between the Highlands substation and the Menlyn Main Southern Precinct, which included medium voltage network and lighting designs.
Badenhorst Estate, Dalpark Extension 19

Apex Substation Upgrade, Electrical Reticulation and Street Lighting
Nurizon was appointed to undertake the design of the bulk and internal electrical infrastructure for the Badenhorst Estate development – a 300 hectare, integrated mixed-use development (light industrial, commercial and residential) in Benoni.

High Density Residential and Retirement Village: Electrical and Telecoms Design
Nurizon was appointed to complete the electrical engineering infrastructure feasibility studies for a number of Sable Homes’ developments in Gauteng. These included Phases 6-15 of a luxury retirement village (Hazeldean) and several high density residential developments, including select phases of Sparrow View, Waterberry and Thorntree Place and Fourteendale.
