Nurizon was appointed to undertake a prefeasibility study (PFS) design in terms of the Tailings Storage Facilities (TFSs) (2 off) for Steelpoortdrift Iron Ore Mine.The Steelpoortdrift Mine is located near Steelpoort, Limpopo Province of South Africa.The Scope of Services include:- Filter cake containment facilities (2 off) design, including toe drains, etc.- Slope stability for both containment facilities.- Liner design for one of the containment facilities. The other facility will be unlined (same classification as the Mine Waste).- Stormwater Management for both containment facilities.
